DOES HOPE WORK?

I hope I get well. I hope I win the lottery. I hope there will be enough food for the kids. I hope that I can sleep tonight. I hope I don’t get fired. I hope, I hope, I hope.
Life is filled with physical and spiritual battles that test our mental and physical aptitude.
The apostle Paul wrote that we should approach these battles by first putting on the full armor of God. In addition Jesus said, “My peace I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled.” He also said, “I will give you rest.”
More important are the 3,573 Bible promises that God has made to us. To emphasize His word God said “I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered.”
We can have eternal hope in the powerful words of God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Matthew wrote, “do not worry about everyday life … whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? You “should take no thought …. for your heavenly Father knows that you have a need.”
Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.
The miracle of life is that God feeds and cares for the birds and the flowers of the field and He will take care of us if we permit it.
Are miracles a part of our life or are we just waiting for the end?
